Cherry Blossom Cupcake Tower

Wow - I haven't been on my blog in a long time!  I just realized I never posted this wedding I did back in April!  I totally thought I did immediately following the wedding...maybe I just didn't save the post.  So here it is again!  Feeling inspired as I have an upcoming wedding in August to prepare for!

For this April wedding, held on the weekend of the Cherry Blossom Festival parade, I created a tower of cupcakes - 5 yummy flavors, all adorned with sugar cherry blossoms! The wedding took place at Hotel Monaco and from what I saw, couldn't have been more beautiful!

 

Caramel Chocolate Stout

Cherry Blossom
a classic vanilla cupcake with cherries baked in topped with a vanilla mascarpone and cream cheese frosting

Grand Marnier Chocolate
a classic chocolate cake with fresh orange zest, soaked with Grand Marnier, filled with an orange cream and topped with Grand Mariner bittersweet chocolate ganache

Lavender Lemon Drop
a light lemon cupcake topped with a luscious lavender buttercream frosting

Vanilla Fudge
a classic vanilla cupcake topped with a rich chocolate fudge frosting
